NRPHS is owned and operated by Michelle Doucet (Dubé).

Michelle has an Associate Degree in Applied Science for Animal Management and extensive experience working with animals in various settings: animal shelters, veterinary clinics, zoos and aquariums/marine centres.

Skills:

• Animal handling;
• Basic grooming and care of most animals including exotics (nail clipping, ear cleaning, etc.);
• Specialized avian care (nail and wing clipping, beak filing, housing and nutrition);
• Basic medical skills acquired through educational courses and internships with veterinarians (administering of medication and injections);
• Experienced with large breed dogs and special needs/senior animals;
• Pet nutrition for a wide variety of animals including exotics;
