Wanting to add a puppy to our family, we were concerned about being able to let him out frequently while he was a puppy due to our careers working in the tunnel. Michelle was friendly and I could tell from the moment I met her she had a true love for animals and their well being. She has been our golden retriever (Zdeno – AKA Zee)’s walker since we brought him home 9 months ago! He loves his playtime! And we notice a totally different dog on the days that she comes to walk him! Her flexibility with our constantly changing schedule is absolutely wonderful! We highly recommend her services to anyone!

When we learned our dog Casey had diabetes it was pretty overwhelming. Afraid of needles, I wondered how in the world I would be able to give him two shots a day. Finding Michelle was a God send. Her knowledge, patience and understanding helped me overcome all my fears. Today Michelle assists me in caring for Casey when my work interferes. And the best news of all…Casey absolutely loves her, and he’s an excellent judge of character.
Having a somewhat unique pet (African Grey Parrot) it wasn’t easy to find the expertise in the area to entrust my little guy with. I am so pleased to have found Michelle- I can leave him in her care knowing that he’ll not only be looked after, but his happiness and well being come first with her.
Leaving our precious two dogs and cat in the care of a new person is always a stressful time. When Michelle started looking after our pets, however, we quickly learned that we had connected with a wonderful care provider! She quickly established a warm and compassionate relationship with all of us, both pets and humans. Michelle clearly is expert and knowledgeable in caring for both dogs and cats and her overall manner inspired our confidence and trust. Her skill and calmness in handling a rapidly developing illness in one of our dogs the first time when we were out of town was very reassuring. Overall, caring for our animals has been complicated and demanding, given their special medical needs, and Michelle has always done an excellent job. She also has been flexible and accommodating when we have needed to make emergency requests, as well as doing the extra things that make coming home a little easier. In addition, her notes about each day’s events make fun and informative reading. Thank goodness for Michelle!
It has been a relief to discover the services of Michelle Doucet as a caregiver for our cats when we have to be away from home. From our first contact, it was clear that she was doing this work because she really likes animals and intended to establish a comfort level for them to quell their nervousness about having a stranger in the house (one of ours is inclined to hide indefinitely with any new person). Michelle achieved that and the cats were relaxed and happy when we returned. I like her daily reports, and the fact that she spends time talking with and playing with them. I highly recommend her services.
